Integrate Social Media into Brand Strategies

Has anybody had the experience to running a campaign on Social Media platforms? Ot integrated SM into a strategy? I wonder what it takes to organize and navigate/interact with such a strategy? Also, what language does it take?

I have, and regularly use social media as a platform to market my brands. Can you re-iterate what you mean as far as “language” is concerned?

Using social media to monetize brand is more unique than any other form of advertising I have ever experienced. There is more demand for new, fresh content. Being genuine is also crucial. You must also reserve a significant amount of time in social media to make it work. Consider it as a big customer service platform. Most people don’t care about you. They care about how you can help them. Showing empathy and strategizing content around helping you and the ones that view your content, your brand, is key. There are risks with being genuine, though. I have lost plenty of clients because I am too genuine some times; too much myself. But the ones that bite in can relate to my story and feel very comfortable interacting with me, which are really the people I want to do business with anyway.
Thanks. The quote below, that' what I meant with "language". Creating a story a customer/readr/visitor can relate to. That's the challenge.

"Most people don’t care about you. They care about how you can help them. Showing empathy and strategizing content around helping you and the ones that view your content, your brand, is key..."
No problem, Marc. Thanks again for your private message
i have been doing "social media" campaigns before they were called that. we set up profiles for characters of TV shows back when friendster was the #1 "social site." what we have found is that what has worked for 100's of years to get people to notice or care about what you have to offer is no different in "social media." All that is new are the tools, the message and how you do it is the same. the only big change is how many people you can reach (quickly) and how little the cost can be. if you are passionate about your product and services and you can show others your passion, they will want what you are offering. if all you have to offer is "stale bread" you will have a hard time making a sale.

the biggest key is to be passionate and care about the people you communicate with (which is what you should be doing already no matter where you are putting out your message).

social media is nothing new. it's the community dinner or the church bazaar, it just happens daily (and on your schedule). be yourself, be passionate, care about things that are dear to you and you will succeed.
Hello Larry,

You seem a little bitter about the new way of social networking. What is it that you really don't like about them? The key is passion and communicating with people. You are right. Making genuine relationship has always been just as important then as it is now. Conversely, everyone must adapt to the ebb and flow of technology, design, and brand.

Ladies and Gentlemen. Maybe this video from Perry can help put the "Play" is the lesson on social networking you are about to see. This sums up how you should view the latest in social networking tools.
